Do you often see décor items that you
love, such as scatter cushions, vases and rugs,
that look fabulous in room setups in magazines,
online or in stores, but somehow you just can’t
mentally place them in your own home?
Superbalist, South Africa’s leading online
fashion, beauty and homeware retailer, has come
to the rescue, using Plascon’s ‘Bringing it
Home’ 2023 colour palette adding the depth and
colour you need to complete the room makeover of
your dreams. View the joint Plascon - Superbalist
collaboration at Decorex from 22 to 25
June at the CTICC as well as Decorex Joburg from 3
to 6 August at the
Sandton Convention Centre. These in-show
apartment setups will enable visitors to the
show visitors to be interactive in four different rooms and play
around with Superbalist’s curated range of
furniture, home decor and tabletop items s to
come up with the décor look that perfectly suits
their personal style. A dedicated QR code takes
shoppers to a curated page where they can buy
their favourite items from the rooms with one
click.

Selected with careful attention to
detail, the Plascon
colour palette will provide an inspiring
backdrop for relaxed browsing while also
displaying how the right paint colour choices can
really pull a room together. The main colours in
the shoppable apartment, Sun Kissed (Y3-A1-2),
Bleached Baobab (Y2-C2-2), Baked Earth (O4-B1-1)
and Blue Grace (B4-B2-1), are drawn from
Plascon’s 2023 ‘Bringing it Home’ colour
palette, a selection of soothing hues inspired
by the natural landscapes of South Africa that
bring warmth, hope and a celebration of nature
to interior design directions. Accent colours
featured in the apartment, also from the 2023
colour palette, include Safari Sun (O7-C1-1),
Green Glass (81), Yellow Mystery (Y4-B2-1) and
Red Flame (R7-A1-1).
The two iconic
South African brands will also be running a
competition as part of their ‘Bringing it Home’
shoppable apartment experience at both Decorex
Cape Town and Decorex Joburg. Visitors to the
shows can style the space their own way, snap a
picture, and tag Plascon and Superbalist, for a
chance to win all of the Superbalist furniture
and decor products in that room, and one of your
own rooms painted in a Plascon colour of your
choice. At both the Cape Town and Joburg shows,
one winner will be selected.
