Gorgeous designer homes

One of my passions is to take a peek into designer homes to see what trends are popping up. These gorgeous homes immediately caught my eye - not only for their modern or contemporary design, but also for the use of vibrant colours and stunning photography.

 

ABOVE: Striped curtains in a sheer fabric allow privacy without blocking off the view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The overall colour scheme uses neutrals, with a dash of bold red to add a vibrancy.

ABOVE: A stunning chandelier floats above the glass dining table. The sheer striped curtains continue through to the dining room for a cohesive look in this open-plan space. Texture, by way of stone cladding, is added to a central wall between the large expanse of windows.

ABOVE: The flow from the living and dining space into the kitchen transform from glass to chrome, with striking chrome pendant globes above the countertops. Although the kitchen has an overall neutral colour scheme. the large vases, dining stools and vibrant orange wall perfectly complement the entire room.

With more than ample seating and an oversize coffee table, you would expect this room to feel cluttered, but it's the minimal detail (simple Roman blinds) that makes the difference.
