Storage crates for nursery or bedroom

We have previously featured a project that shows how to make your own wine crates, and you can make a few minor modifications to the design to create the adorable storage crates for a nursery or children's bedroom.

Painted in shades of pastel pink and white for a little girl, or navy blue for a little boy, each storage crate is lightly distressed before finishing with a coat of acrylic sealer.

The only difference between the storage crates shown above and our wine crates is that thicker pine has been used for the side slats on the very top crate shown on this page.
