Silk ribbon embroidery

I have tried embroidery from time to time but haven't been impressed with the results, but now I have discovered silk ribbon embroidery courtesy of Di van Niekerk, and I can't wait to start working with silk ribbon as an embroidery medium (if I can find the time...!).
