Decorative circular panels for furniture
Here's a quick and easy way to add decorative detail to plain furniture using PVC plumbers pipe that you will find at your local Builders Warehouse. The cut pipe adds a circular detailing that is trendy and can be finished in any colour.

I stumbled across this project featured on vintage revivals, and it's one that I have been dying to do for ages. But as usual, I just haven't found the time to get round to it.
The secret to this elegant and trendy style is to cut PVC pipe into 2cm wide pieces. Of course, you will need a mitre saw or cut off saw for this, otherwise you will be cutting forever!
Once enough pieces of pipe have been cut, these are stuck onto the front of a drawer or door using superglue or 5-minute epoxy glue.
Note: This project works out better if there is a frame around the door or drawer fronts, or add one using pine or supawood moulding. If the cut pipe circles don't quite fit, you may need to cut off a bit here and there for a nice fit. When cutting to fit, cut both the top and bottom sections to make sure the design looks balanced.
When everything is glued in place, spray with Rust-Oleum 2X spray primer and then spray on two coats of your favourite Rust-Oleum 2X spray colour. Remember to spray on light, even coats and let each coat dry before spraying on the next coat.
