Give your blinds a new look
The most dramatic change I've ever made with spray paint is when I decided to spray paint our blinds in our living room. We were on a tight budget when remodelling the house, so spending for new blinds in that room was out of the question. They were in good condition - just ugly.

Preparation
This is an easy project as long as you do the proper preparation and use the right products. For cleaning and spraying you will need to hang the blinds up so that all sections of the blinds can be easily cleaned and sprayed.
Cleaning
Scrub blinds with a strong degreasing cleaner such as Clean Green. All traces of grease and grime need to be removed before painting.
Painting
Plastic or aluminium blinds can be sprayed with Rust-Oleum primer and then
Rust-Oleum Ultracover 2X spray or Painters Touch in the colour of your choice. Wood blinds can simply be sprayed with Rust-Oleum Ultracover 2X spray.
Spray in light, even strokes from side to side, starting on the back/front and finishing on the reverse side. If another coat or touch up is required, let the first coat dry completely before spraying again. Don't try and do this project if it is too windy as you will end up using more paint.
