Party glasses with glam

If you are planning a party or special event and want to add a dash of glam, then these gold painted drinking glasses are just the thing. Grab a can of Rust-Oleum Universal metallic in pure gold, and a Rust-Oleum gold leaf paint pen.

 

YOU WILL NEED:

Glasses - plastic or glass
Masking tape
Sticky dots
Rust-Oleum Universal metallic - pure gold
Rust-Oleum gold leafing pen

 

 

HERE'S HOW:

1. Apply masking tape around the bottom of the glass, leaving just enough space to add a few sticky dots here and there. Place the sticky dots so that they are more concentrated at the top and less concentrated toward the bottom.

2. Cover the top section of the glass with cling wrap and tape it down on the same tape line as before.

3. Use Rust-Oleum Universal in pure gold to lightly spray paint the bottom of the glass.

4. Use a Rust-Oleum gold leaf pen to carry the dot motif up onto the top of the glass. This time make it more concentrated at the bottom and sparse toward the top.
