Gold-dipped bar stools

Grab a can of Rust-Oleum Universal in pure gold at your local Builders Warehouse and add a dash of glitz to boring bar stools. This quick and easy projects turns plain pine bar stools into colourful accessories - and you can colour match to your existing decor with a wide range of Rust-Oleum hues.

 

 

Over at honeybear lane, these plain pine bar stools were given instant colour with a can of Rust-Oleum 2X berry pink.

 

 

Two light coats are sprayed on, allowing each coat to dry properly, and you will have plenty of paint left over if you need to do more stools or other projects. Cover the bottom section of the stool before spraying the seat in pure gold.

A piece of cardboard with a hole for the legs makes spraying the bottom in pure gold easier and there's less chance of spattering your previously sprayed areas.

Much nicer! The gold top and faux dipped legs add a touch of class to blah bar stools.
