Old or reclaimed window frames
I love discovering old and reclaimed window frames. Here are some DIY projects that use reclaimed window frames. My favourite is how to make a beautiful wall hanging with colourful watering cans filled with Portulaca in jewel colours. Hang it on the wall or fence, or close to your patio, for a brilliant splash of fun colour.
You don't have to pot them up with plants, you can also use the watering cans as nifty vases for fresh garden flowers.
Or what about simply spraying the cans with Rust-Oleum 2X ultra cover in your favourite colours for a more basic design.

This eye-catching project was designed and created by Lucy at craftberry bush after discovering the window frame put out for trash. We think it's gorgeous. So simple - yet oh so effective.

Another way to use reclaimed window frames is as decor for inside your home. Talitha at love, pomegranate house used a reclaimed window frame to create a handy chalkboard and shelf. Use Rust-Oleum Chalkboard spray and Rust-Oleum Frosted Glass for the clear panes.
Brittany of pretty handy girl transformed a reclaimed window frame into butterfly wall art for her home.

We recently featured a coffee table using a reclaimed window frame. I still think this is a great idea for re-purposing an old window frame.
