A new dimension in art
Create a dramatic artwork for your home at a cost of less than R200 for all your materials. You can make this as small or as large as you wish for instant impact and just a touch of metallic glitz.
Circles of cardstock are cut into circles. A sheet of 3mm masonite serves as the backing board and is marked out at intervals that allow the circles to overlap each other. Each circle is then stapled onto the backing board.
Decorative pine trim is placed over the mounted card circles and fastened onto the backing board with No More Nails and a staple here and there to hold it firmly in place until the adhesive has set.
Once the glue has set the staples are removed with long-nose pliers and the holes filled in with wood filler and sanded smooth. Now it's time to take outdoors - to an area that won't be affected by overspray - and sprayed with two coats of Rust-Oleum Metallic Gold.
Stand back and enjoy!
