DIY ideas for brown paper grocery lists

Instead of hunting around for scrap paper we put together some ideas for making a DIY brown paper grocery list. All these ideas are quick and easy to make with a few supplies from your local Builders.

 

Using a roll of brown paper is an inexpensive and creative way to make your own grocery or shopping lists. The ideas shown on this page can be easily made using supplies that you will find on the shelf at your local Builders and require very little in the way of tools other than a drill / driver and possibly a jigsaw if you want to cut out your own brackets.

YOU WILL NEED:

Piece of wood or board or back

Length of dowel

2 eyehook bolts

2 knobs or ends for dowel

Wall plugs and screws for wall mounting

Roll of brown paper 

 

 

BELOW: If you want to keep your project as simple as possible, you can use wall plugs and eye hooks to mount a rope line to hold your roll of brown paper onto the wall.

BELOW: For a more sophisticated project, attach wood brackets onto a backing board and place the brown paper roll on a length of dowel that fits into the brackets. 

BELOW: Till rolls allow for a smaller grocery list that can easily be mounted onto a scrap piece of plywood or other board. The grocery list below is held in place using a couple of eye hooks and some medium-gauge wire.

BELOW: A roll of butcher's paper, some copper tube and fittings and you can craft a grocery list with a difference.
