Valentine treats
Spoil your valentine with fluffy marshmallow covered in chocolate. Plus, these valentine treats are so quick and easy to make.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups tennis biscuit crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
melted
chocolate (use double-boiler method)
marshmallows
heart-shaped cutter
Directions
Mix melted butter and tennis biscuit crumbs together, spread them evenly into a foil lined 200 x 250mm pan.
Press down firmly (I used the back of a spatula) and place into the freezer for about an hour.
Remove the foil from the pan and use a mini cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes.
Dip the very bottom of the marshmallows into melted chocolate and place them on top of your cut out tennis biscuit crust.
GOOD TO KNOW
To melt your chocolate, place it in a bowl and suspend the bowl on a pot of boiling water until the chocolate starts to melt. Remove from heat.
Wait for the chocolate to cool and then dip each one entirely in the melted chocolate and place on wax paper to cool. Decorate the top with sprinkles while still wet.
