Make block art for a nursery

Create your own colourful artwork for a nursery or child's bedroom with some framed canvas and craft paint.

 

 

 

 

 

Ashley at makeit-loveit.com put together a collection of colourful painted canvas art to decorate her son's nursery. I think this is a reasonably affordable and simple way to add splashes of colour to a nursery or a toddlers bedroom. Ashley explains how easy it is to do this project...

 

 

 

I first painted different sized canvases the colour that I wanted them and then allowed them to dry fully.

 

 

I cut out car shapes from paper to the size that I wanted them and placed them on each canvas. I arranged the canvases how I wanted them to appear on the wall, and then adjusted each paper car as necessary. Then I traced around each paper shape with a pencil. 

 

 

After painting 2 layers of paint within the lines of each car shape I let them dry.
