HERE'S HOW:

1. Make up a basic box frame using 22 x 67mm pine. Make this to the size you want to fit behind the bed. To join the frame together you can use a pneumatic nailer, screws, OR hammer and panels. Apply wood glue to all edges before joining.

2. Cut the pegboard to fit and attach this onto the box frame with a pneumatic nailer OR hammer and panel pins.

3. Finish off the frame with a pine trim around the outside edge.

4. Lightly sand and wipe clean before applying your choice of paint colour with a foam roller.

GOOD TO KNOW: Choose a paint that is washable, such as a sheen acrylic or water-based enamel paint.

Finish off the pegboard headboard with pegboard hooks to hang and support pine shelves.
