Betta or worse
Over two weeks ago I got in touch with the guys at Betta sanitary ware to tell them that my toilet (installed in May 2011) was starting to crack all over. There are hairline cracks appearing over almost the entire toilet - both on the inside and outside.
The new toilet was installed as part of a bathroom renovation that was featured in Easy DIY magazine, so there is no lack of proof as to when the toilet was installed.
Sanitary ware is not cheap these days, and additional expense was made for a dual-flush toilet to tie in with the 'green' design of the bathroom renovation.
After two weeks, and receipts that my email was read by at least three Betta Sanitary ware employees, no one has come back to me. If this is the kind of service one can expect from Betta Sanitary ware, then I definitely will not be installing any of their sanitary ware in the future.
UPDATE: It took three weeks, but I was eventually contacted by a representative of Betta. They arranged to remove and replace the toilet. The installation was professional and the new toilet looks great... no cracks!
