Quick Project: Make a Man Caddy for the bathroom
Our DIY projects very rarely feature something for the guys, but this man caddy is specially for the DIY guys out there!

Made using some pine offcuts that I had left over, this man caddy is super easy to make and should take no more than an hour from start to finish.
The caddy lets your man have a place for his grooming products in the bathroom, and you can easily add more holes if he has more that he wants to place in the caddy.
HERE'S HOW:
1. Set up your mitre saw (jigsaw or table saw) to cut a 10-degree angle at the top and bottom edge of the front panel, as well as at one end of the top and bottom sections and small batten.
2. Use a spade bit to drill a hole (or more holes) in the top panel. This is where the razor will fit, or for any other accessories that you want to add.
3. Sand all the pieces with 240-grit sanding pads for a super smooth finish.
4. Apply a bead of wood glue along the bottom edge of the front panel.
5. Press this down onto the base, as shown below.
6. We used a pneumatic nailer to secure the join. If you don't have a brad nailer, you can use a hammer and panel pins. But DO let the glue dry if you are using the latter option.
7. Repeat this process to add the top shelf to the front panel, also adding a few nails for a secure assembly.
8. Also glue on the front batten that goes on the bottom of the front panel.
Finishing
Use wood filler to fill in any nail holes. Let dry and then sand smooth.
You have the choice of finishing your man caddy any way you want. We used a Cherrywood stain and then applied 3 coats of Rust-Oleum Ultimate Polyurethane, satin finish.
