Duncan Butchart is a South African artist who draws on his childhood memories of The Adventures of Tintin. I am sure that many of you remember Hergé's wonderful cartoon series that hosted both locally and internationally. Duncan has taken his memories and created a series of posters that are cartoon-inspired depictions of well-loved destinations and places within South Africa and on the African continent.
The vintage-inspired collection consists of 18 posters of African destinations such as the Karoo, Cape Town and Hermanus, Kruger Park, Victoria Falls, etc., and all of which are done in in Hergé's signature ligne claire style of drawing. All poster prints in the collection are available in various size formats and signed by the artist.
The posters are priced affordably from R300 upwards, depending on the size required, and can be framed or mounted to make a truly unique feature or wall gallery.
