Malco USA now offers four models in their TurboShear range that
transform your power drill into multiple cutting machines.
The Malco
TurboShear MALTSCMLA for corrugated and box metal roofing, MALTSHDLA for
cutting heavy-duty mild and galvanised steel, MALTSMD for Double Cutting
galvanised steel, for a clean cut on both sides, or cut from either end.
And, lastly the MALTSF2LA Fibre cement Backerboard shears.
Now you have the ability to turn your drill into a powerful cutting machine for all types of sheet metal fabrications.
The Malco TurboShear cuts faster and far better than manual methods. Easy to fit onto your power drill or drill / driver, the TurboShear attachment offers cross-cuts, lengthwise cuts and square or circular outlet cuts in metal roofing products.
Use the Malco TSMD model {below} on your power drill or drlll / driver for double-cutting performance with a clean, straight edge every time.
This versatile range of Malco TurboShears fit any power drill you already own - electric or cordless - and all can make easy cross-cuts fast, lengthwise cuts, and precise circular as well as cuts square in large or small patterned corrugated metal roofing and common trapezoidal roofing panels.
Elongated blades with compact jaws create a steep 75-degree offset so that the drill is held at a nearly vertical approach when starting a cut. When cutting corrugated or trapezoidal profiles such as IBR or roof sheeting, it is the offset blades that follow the rising angle while the drill handle or battery pack allows sufficient clearance to naturally tip downward and still clear the roofing panel surface.
All the new units have a sleek, lightweight aluminium-cast shear head and compact moulded polymer drill clamp allowing maximum portability and ease to go wherever the work is. The telescoping drill clamp adjusts to fit both length and width of all popular drill sizes cordless or electric, including smaller bodied impact drivers. The large motor housing also allows for the storage of optional spacers.
Rotate the clamp collar through 360° and set in position for optimum tool clearance when navigating profiles or to facilitate easy material flow. They can cut straight and curved cuts, they are also a lightweight design for one-hand operation.
The shears can operate at high or low speeds for the control you need to follow a precise cut line. With both heavy-duty gearing and hardened carbon steel blades you have a tool that offers long service life when using with 30 to 24-gauge (0.31 – 0.61 mm) roofing panel metal.
Use the lateral blade adjustment to provide optimum cutting performance and manoeuvrability giving you even more of a cutting advantage. Replacement blades are available and easily installed on the job.
For corrugated/box metal roofing up to 0.61mm, heavy duty mild and galvanised steel up to 1.32mm
