Concrete countertops that resemble wood

Before we even have time to discover concrete countertops, now you can have concrete countertops that resemble real wood. While not yet available locally, there is bound to be someone out there who is looking at the possibility of crafting concrete countertops that look like wood. At least, I hope so.

I have been reading several design sites that are saying that a new or returning trend to the bathroom is Wood!

The sites have these beautiful pictures of wooden bathtubs and of course aesthetically it is awesome, however, one can't help but think about the maintenance issues of wood.

The look of wood is not a new trend by any means. However, using that look in areas where wood is not a viable option, is.

JM Lifestyles has created concrete to resemble real wood so exactingly - you have to look underneath to make sure. J & M has been considered masters of illusion and this product is no exception. Concrete wood is not meant to replace wood, but to allow to put it in places that you wouldn't normally be able to consider wood as an option.

What these guys can do with concrete is amazing and there's no reason why we can't do the same here in South Africa.
