Each year top interior designers place their unique mark on various rooms, which are then put on show to raise funds for charity. This year, the 2014 show house certainly makes a bold impact.

A common thread that all the rooms in the decorator show house have in common in the bold use of colour, amazing wall treatments and rich textiles in every room. Whether it's a touch of gold or silver, a bright sunny yellow, deep red or blue, the designer showcase rooms are filled to the brim with colour.

 

Bold use of deep turquoise combined with metallic elements and ethnic touches define the masculine study. Moroccan-style framed mirrors reflect and bounce light around the farthest end of the space, with its zebra print rug and organic coffee table, and cork ceiling - all of which offer a contrast with the vintage pieces at the opposite end, to create a rather electric setting.
