Make your own cold porcelain

It's quite simple to make your old cold porcelain. Cold porcelain is an inexpensive, non-toxic, clay-like material that is easy to work with for small projects and subtitutes bought products nicely. Cold porcelain does not require heating, since it hardens by exposure to air.

YOU WILL NEED:

1 cup PVA glue
1 cup Maizena
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. baby oil

HERE'S HOW:

Step 1
Place all your ingredients on a microwave-safe bowl.

Step 2
Mix all your ingredients until you have a smooth creamy paste and microwave for 30 seconds.

Step 3
Take the mix out of the microwave stir it, and place it back in the microwave for another 30 seconds.

Step 4
Stir againĀ  and microwave it for 30 more seconds. (this is the last time in the microwave)

Step 5
Carefully take out the mix and place it on a corn starch covered surface.

Step 6
Start kneading your dough carefully. (It can be really hot) until you get the dough to a consistent texture.

Step 7
Lace your dough in a tightly closed zip lock bag and let it sit on cool temperature overnight.

Step 8
Divide your dough into equal quantities and colour them using food colouring or acrylic paints. (I used about two drops of food colouring per colour)
