Clean-Up South Africa
International Coastal Clean-Up Day takes place from 11 to 16 September, 2017.
International Clean-Up Day takes place from 11 to 16 September, 2017 and various clean-up projects are in the pipeline for water sources and beaches around South Africa. With close to 120 000 volunteers taking part in this annual event, recycling shouldn't be limited to one day a year, and there are many ways to be involved and increase awareness of recycling - every day.
Our oceans are filled with plastic and we rely on the assistance of volunteers to clean beaches and waterways. With your help, International Clean-Up Day can make a difference. Simply by volunteering, we can protect our South African coastal environments and join the world in support of our oceans and their inhabitants.
